Please contact us if you have questions about any of the pieces below or our current selection of Gorky Gonzalez pottery.

Talavera Ceramic Ware

The Talavera ceramic tradition descended from the Spanish majolica pottery, and is named “Talavera” after the Spanish city of its origin. Initially created at guilds in Puebla, it continues to be made there as well as the town of Dolores Hidalgo. Blending Spanish motifs and Mexican artistic sensibilities, Talavera ceramic ware has a look all its own, and is collected worldwide.

Please contact us if you are interested in a specific piece or if you have questions about our current inventory.  We usually carry 6-8” tiles, a variety of small and large serving dishes, dinner plates, mugs, teapots and pitchers.
