CP Shades
The idea of CP Shades has always been about natural fiber, garment-dyed clothing with soul—the ones you reach for again and again. 40 years onward, their vision has stayed the same; producing easy pieces that become favorites using 100% renewable solar energy on the Sausalito waterfront in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The company is committed to producing sustainably to lessen its ecological footprint. Here are a few of the ways they are implementing this philosophy. Since 2018 their offices and sewing facility have been powered by solar energy. They use minimal packaging; orders come wrapped in tissue paper, (no excessive plastic use) and they use linen bags to transport products. They also use Corozo nut buttons rather than plastic buttons, and they have partnered with One Tree Planted - planting one tree for each piece of clothing sewn.
