Expertly handwoven of pajón, a native grass in Guatemala, and trimmed with a pine needle accent, the Yesica Basket is just the right size to keep your desk or counter organized.
The baskets are woven in the Guatemalan Highlands by cooperatives of women who work to support their families and communities. The income is fairly distributed among all artisans in the coop and allows members to participate in decisions about their work. Coop members share skills and expertise, encourage one another and enjoy mutual support.
