Recycled blue denim and upcycled brown khaki threads are intricately woven to create a pattern of stars and arrows on a natural cotton background. Woven in the Guatemalan Highlands by cooperatives of women who work to support their families and communities. Working within a democratically organized group insures that the income is fairly distributed among all artisans in the coop and allows members to participate in decisions about their work. Coop members share skills and expertise, encourage one another and enjoy mutual support.
