The handmade natural and light grey market basket is woven from the extremely durable and versatile sisal plant. Sisal baskets may at first feel rough, but soften with use.

Products made of sisal are not afraid of a little water but do not soak them. You can clean them with a damp cloth or rinse with water, but do not scrub the surface, machine wash, spin dry, or tumble dry. Allow to dry in a warm place, but not in direct sunlight.

The handles and straps of these baskets are made from locally sourced leather. The leather is vegetable tanned, a process that uses organic materials and natural tannins derived from the bark, leaves, and branches of trees and plants.
