The city of Nanao is surrounded by the sea and mountains, it is easy to find places that take you closer to nature. There are five different candles, all with a motif of a different plant that grows in the Noto Peninsula. The candles are all named after a letter of the word ‘plant’.
Takazawa Candle continues a Japanese candle-making tradition dating back to 1892, handcrafting plant-based wa-rousoku from sumac, rice bran, and canola wax for a brighter, cleaner flame. Made in Nanao, Japan, these unscented candles feature a unique natural wick that creates a warm, flickering glow—perfect for dining, relaxation, and mindful moments in the home.
