Monika Krol
While studying at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Monika Krol discovered a love for the quiet, meticulous process of creating small objects of desire, surrounded by the sounds and energy of the studio. After graduating, she went on to work alongside two talented independent jewelers, experiences that deepened her appreciation for exceptional materials and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Over the years, Monika became an avid collector of beautiful and unusual gemstones, drawn to their natural character and individuality. She pairs these stones with rich 18-karat yellow gold, creating jewelry that feels both refined and full of personality. In 2014, she launched her namesake collection, Monika Krol Jewelry.
Monikaās designs are simple and clean, allowing each gemstone to take center stage. Subtle, vintage-inspired details - like bails reminiscent of antique watch fobs - add a sense of history and charm. Each piece is thoughtfully made to be worn and gifted with intention: jewelry that gathers meaning over time, becomes part of a personal story, and is ultimately cherished as future heirlooms.
