This fabric utilizes the outer fluff of the cocoon, known as “cocoon fluff,” which is typically discarded when extracting silk. Sourced from local farmers, Evam Eva devised a method to use this material without waste, creating a knit with a rustic appearance. This material features a slightly misty surface appearance, created by twisting together a roving yarn blended with merino wool and supima cotton, combined with silk mohair yarn.
