Abby creates beautiful, modern accessories designed to be worn every day and cherished for years. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handmade with care, using locally and ethically sourced materials.

Abby’s journey began in 2014, when she traveled from Chicago to Tanzania to teach in a local primary school. What started as a short-term adventure quickly became a deep connection—she fell in love with the culture, the people, and the rich traditions of craftsmanship.

Back home, Abby continued teaching but returned to East Africa often, building friendships and learning about fair trade, artisan work, and economic empowerment. Over time, an idea began to take shape: combine her love for fashion, her passion for fighting injustice, and her background in education into something meaningful.

In 2018, that idea became ABBY ALLEY—a brand devoted to high-quality, timeless, and fashion-forward accessories, each one a celebration of craft, connection, and conscious design.

I brought this collection to the shop because it’s the perfect mix of style and substance—pieces you’ll reach for every day, knowing they’re made with purpose and heart. Our customers love how effortlessly they elevate an outfit while supporting artisans around the world.
