Stoneware is naturally able to maintain even temperatures, both during and after the cooking process. Scorch that may alter flavor is prevented, dessert and cold soups are kept cold, and warmth is maintained in soups and stews.

This handmade enameled stoneware starts its life as pure, mineral-rich clay, and is fired at temperatures exceeding 1200° which makes it naturally heat and shatter-resistant.
