The Mevia Pendant was inspired by a small leather scapular Julie found at a flea market, which is a token of religious devotion. The pendant is called Mevia after the famous female Roman gladiator who fought with a spear. Hand fabricated bronze Mevia pendant on 30-inch gold-filled chain.
"As a designer, I am interested in taking non-precious materials and elevating the perception of their worth. The polymer clay used in this design takes on the appearance of marble through subtle color choices, meticulously mixing, and hand forming.
