Utilitarian Beauty Made by Hand
Ana Miranda is the creative force behind AM Ceramics. An industrial designer by trade, she fell in love with clay from a very young age and now blends her profession with her passion by working with this material. She specializes in the elaboration of practical and decorative objects. Influenced by her Venezuelan roots where she grew up surrounded by the sea and nature, her pieces are made with the intention to take advantage of the beauty of the materials to give them a lifetime of use. She uses organic lines that reflect our connection with the earth by adding natural colors and textures. Her wheel-thrown pieces are designed and handcrafted by her in Barcelona Spain with 100% raw materials.
