Jewelry Designer + Metalsmith, Kate Maller has honed her eye for detail through her architectural background, an affinity for experimentation, and a sensibility for craftsmanship. A deep love for the environment extends into her design practice with pieces that are organic in process and aesthetic; she takes cues from the imperfections found in nature. An aspect that we covet from Kate’s line, is that the designer and her team of metalsmiths celebrate and value the time-honored traditions inherent in the art and craft of hand-fabricated jewelry; no two pieces are exactly alike, you’ll see subtle nuances in replicated pieces from her collections. Kate's passion for environmental and social justice has shaped her commitment to sustainability. Currently, she employs the following initiatives: recycled Argentium silver, Fairmined + recycled gold, 100% conflict free + reclaimed diamonds, materials sourced from local + US-owned businesses, recycled + recyclable packaging, and she is also a member of Ethical Metalsmiths.
