āWho is wearing perfume in my tastingĀ room?ā the winemaker declared, as Kelly Jones (creator, founder, and scent sommelier of Kelly + Jones)Ā swirled her Chardonnay at a California vineyard. Right there in the vineyard, she had accidentally defied the rules of the wine tasting. Wearing perfume while the nose isĀ in the glass is strictly prohibited- rightfully so; it can interfere with the wineāsĀ aromas. But as perfume wafted from her skin, across the glass, it started toĀ enhance all the nuances of the wineās bouquet. So she decided to break the rules andĀ set out to create fragrances inspired by the art of wine tasting. The result is a trulyĀ new concept in fragrance; an experiential and sensorial new pairing. This spirit of 'terroir' + the sensoriality of nature is infused into the essences of the Kelly + Jones collection.
