After a trip in 2008, Meyelo founder Carmen Myers began working with communities in Kenya to help bring educational and economic opportunities to young women in the Maasai community. Carmen and her team provide training programs in business practices to ensure the understanding of the global market for small-scale artisans while preserving beautiful craft and handmade techniques.
