Minot’s mission is to create safe, beautiful candles to be enjoyed during self-care rituals, or while surrounded by those you treasure. For Kerry Kip (Minot’s Founder), candles have always been associated with calm, warmth, and welcome; the flickering light, the crackling wick, and the scent. Distrusting mainstream products, Kerry checked ingredient lists only to find many instances of greenwashing. Determined to find a more layered alternative, she taught herself to blend oils and make my own candles. Minot’s complex, non-toxic candles are hand-poured in small batches with 100% cotton wicks, free of lead and zinc. Scented with plant-based oils only and 100% domestically sourced soy wax.
