At The Phoenix, we’re drawn to designers who blend heritage with modern artistry—and Wallace Sewell does exactly that. Founded by Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell, this British design studio is known for its vibrant, geometric textiles that transform traditional weaving into contemporary works of art. Inspired by Bauhaus principles, each piece begins on handlooms in their London and Dorset studios, before being woven in a family-run UK mill using a mix of sustainable materials and responsible production methods.
Their bold use of color, intricate weaves, and timeless craftsmanship make Wallace Sewell’s textiles a true celebration of artistry and design. Each piece tells a story—one of heritage, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail. And because they’re woven in small batches, every scarf, throw, and garment feels personal and unique—just the way we like it.
