Fine Jewelry Inspired by the Natural World
Rachel Atherley re-interprets forms and patterns found in nature when designing, and as a trained metalsmith, adds the organic structure when fabricating. Each piece is thoughtfully constructed in her Hudson Valley, New York studio. Natural patterns and silhouettes combined with the strength and movement of metal allow the pieces to have a timeless sensibility through a modern perspective. Therefore, Rachel's work allows the wearer to showcase their own individuality through the abstract shapes and structures derived from nature. The metalsmith uses recycled precious metals with hand-selected gemstones.
