This cap-sleeve cotton top has scallop detailing at the shoulders and front neckline with functional buttons along the scalloped edge. It has light gathers along the back yoke. Pair with the Mirth Pant, as pictured.
This hand loomed fabric is made in rural India by artisan weavers using pedals, shuttles, and manpower to weave the fabric, all without the aid of electricity. The multi-step process is carried out by the community, from warping yarns and winding cones, to starching fabric and setting up the loom. The weavers Mirth works with are either entrepreneurs with looms in their homes or part of a weaving revival project or NGO.
